What are Minternational Passes?

Minternational Passes are Mint Mobile's international coverage add-ons.
There are four different passes:
Minternational Passes
| Price per pass | High-speed data | Minutes and texts | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30-Day Pass | $5 | None | 100 minutes 100 texts |
| 1-Day Pass | $5 | 1GB | 60 minutes 60 texts |
| 3-Day Pass | $10 | 3GB | 200 minutes 200 texts |
| 10-Day Pass | $20 | 10GB | 500 minutes 500 texts |
Minternational Passes work in over 180 different countries around the world. Mint also offers a destination coverage checker on its website to make sure you'll have service during your trip.
Visit your online Mint account or the Mint Mobile app to add a pass to your plan. They can be purchased before your trip or while abroad. Your pass will automatically activate when you connect to a foreign network.
If you run out of data, minutes, or texts, you can always purchase an additional pass. Just note that whenever you purchase a new pass, what was left on your old one is deleted. You can't stack data, minutes, or texts by purchasing several passes at once.
Which Minternational Pass should I choose?
The pass you choose depends on your data needs while abroad.
If you're taking a classic spring break trip to an all-inclusive resort or sailing on a cruise, it's a good bet you'll have access to Wi-Fi most of the time. These kinds of trips don't need much data, so you may prefer Mint's new 30-Day Pass to stay connected. Purchasing the 1-Day Pass on the days you leave your hotel is also a cheap option.
On the other hand, more adventurous trips might require longer passes with larger data allotments. If you're taking a trip to Europe or exploring South America, it's a good idea to have more data so you can use your phone while away from steady Wi-Fi locations. After all, you'll want to make sure you can access Google Maps for directions or post pictures of your trip to Instagram.
