What services does Earthlink offer?

Earthlink offers residential internet services to select cities in the U.S., as well as website and marketing services for your business.

In what states does EarthLink offer coverage?

The HyperLink internet service provided by EarthLink is available in 21 states and their DSL internet plans are available in most of the country. Enter your address into our search tool to see whether Earthlink internet is available in your neighborhood.

How fast are Earthlink's internet plans?

EarthLink's Hyperlink internet speeds range from 3Mbps to 75Mbps, while their DSL Internet plans range from 1.5Mbps to 15Mbps. Speeds will vary from city to city.

What type of internet connection is offered by Earthlink?

EarthLink offers their fastest internet options through their Hyperlink Internet plans. If you don't need the fastest speeds, Earthlink also offers DSL internet plans.

What happens if I go over my monthly data allowance?

EarthLink HyperLink plans do not cap their data, so feel free to browse, stream, and download as much as you want!

Does EarthLink require a contract and if so, what are the terms?

EarthLink's HyperLink service requires that you sign a 12-month contract which carries an early termination fee of up to $200. EarthLink's DSL plans also lock you into a 12-month contract, with an early termination fee of up to $90.

What are EarthLink's modem and router requirements?

When you sign up for EarthLink's internet service, to either rent a modem from them for $6.95/month or a make a one-time payment of $74.95. If you sign up for a Hyperlink Internet plan, you must use one of EarthLink's supplied modems with WiFi. If you choose an EarthLink DSL internet plan, you do have the option of using your own modem, as long as it's an approved model.

How much is installation?

For an EarthLink Hyperlink internet plan, professional installation is required from a qualified EarthLink technician, which will be a one time fee of $69.95. You can install DSL internet yourself for free.

Does EarthLink offer the option to bundle with TV and/or phone?

Not at this time.
