The best Boost Mobile plans

1. Best overall plan: Boost Mobile Unlimited

Boost Mobile
Boost Mobile

Unlimited Plan

  • Unlimited 4G LTE/5G data
  • No mobile hotspot data
  • Deal: Get this Unlimited plan for only $10/mo. for the first 3 months of service with Boost Mobile!
$10.00/mo
with AutoPay

Boost Mobile's Unlimited plan is the best budget option from the carrier. It offers 30GB of premium data for just $25/month, and includes a special price lock so your rate will never increase.

Reasons to buy

  • Access to AT&T and T-Mobile's 5G networks
  • 30GB premium data
  • Price lock feature
  • Cheapest Boost Mobile plan

Reasons to avoid

  • No mobile hotspot (available as add-on)

Why it beats the competition

This is Boost Mobile's most affordable plan, yet it also meets the needs of most customers.

At $25/month, the Unlimited plan is among the cheapest unlimited plans on the market, matching pricing from carriers like US Mobile and Visible. Its 30GB data allotment is enough to meet the needs of average customers, who typically only use 10–15GB per month.

Unfortunately, the plan doesn't include a mobile hotspot allotment. However, mobile hotspot is still available as a paid add-on for $10/month, along with multiple other add-ons like global texting and international roaming. If you rarely use these features, the Unlimited plan is great way to only pay for what you need, instead of overpaying for a plan that includes these features all the time.

The bottom line

Boost Mobile's Unlimited plan is the best plan overall because it offers 30GB of premium data and excellent coverage at a cheap price. While this plan doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Boost's top-tier options, it offers enough that it should meet the needs of average customers. Plus, if users discover they need extra perks, they can still purchase them individually in the Boost Mobile app.

2. Best for perks: Infinite Access

Infinite Access for Galaxy Plan

  • Unlimited 4G LTE/5G data
  • No mobile hotspot data
$65.00/mo
Boost Mobile
Boost Mobile

Infinite Access for iPhone Plan

  • Unlimited 4G LTE/5G data
  • No mobile hotspot data
$65.00/mo

Boost Mobile's Infinite Access plans are two postpaid options that include a special perk to get you the newest iPhone or Samsung Galaxy phone every year. Compared to plans from the major carriers, this is one of the cheapest ways to get an early upgrade.

Reasons to buy

  • 30GB premium data
  • Yearly iPhone or Android upgrade
  • Talk, text, and 5GB data in Canada and Mexico
  • Global talk and text

Reasons to avoid

  • No mobile hotspot (available as add-on)
  • Small data allotment for an expensive plan

Why we love it

The Infinite Access plan from Boost Mobile offers a 30GB premium data allotment and a few extra perks you won't find on the standard unlimited plan, like North American roaming and global talk and text. However, what really sets this plan apart is the device perk. For just $65/month, Boost offers an unlimited plan and a free yearly device upgrade perk, which is a pretty solid deal.

Boost Mobile technically offers two Infinite Access plans, but the only difference between them is whether you're getting a new iPhone or Samsung Galaxy smartphone every year. Switching now will allow you to choose between the iPhone 17 series, Samsung Galaxy S25 series, and Samsung's newest foldable devices

The device credit is tied to the price of the flagship model phones, which is around $799. You can still select premium model devices like the iPhone 17 Pro or Galaxy S25+ with these plans, but you'll have to pay to make up the price difference.

Yearly upgrade perks are rare in phone plans. Most carriers force you to pay off your device to upgrade early or join a special program for a monthly fee. T-Mobile's Experience Beyond plan offers a similar yearly upgrade perk and is priced at $100/month. Getting the same feature from Boost Mobile at $65/month is a much better deal for price-conscious customers.

The bottom line

The Boost Mobile Infinite Access plans are one of the cheapest ways to get the newest flagship phone from Apple or Samsung every year. While these plans are not built for heavy data users or customers who need large mobile hotspot allotments, they do still offer enough premium data to meet the needs of average users.

3. Best for family plan: Unlimited Premium

Boost Mobile
Boost Mobile

Unlimited Premium Plan

  • Unlimited 4G LTE/5G data
  • Unlimited mobile hotspot data
$60.00/mo
with AutoPay

With 50GB of premium data and mobile hotspot capability, the Unlimited Premium plan is Boost Mobile's best option for heavy data users. Its $40/month multi-line discount also makes it particularly attractive for family plans.

Reasons to buy

  • 50GB premium data
  • Mobile hotspot (usage comes from premium data allotment)
  • Eligible for family plan and multi-line discount (up to 3 lines)
  • Global talk and text
  • Talk, text, and 5GB data in Canada and Mexico

Reasons to avoid

  • Expensive MVNO plan
  • No price lock

Why it's the best Boost Mobile plan for families

Unlimited Premium offers Boost Mobile's best family plan discount. Getting three Unlimited Premium lines will save customers $40 on the overall cost of their plan, bringing the regular $60/month price down to just $46.67/line.

It's also the best plan for heavy data users. Customers who do a lot of streaming, mobile gaming, and video chatting on the go have more than enough data in the Unlimited Premium plan to meet their needs.

The Unlimited Premium plan offers 50GB of premium data, mobile hotspot capability, and extra international features like global talk and text. Since the mobile hotspot draws from the overall premium data allotment, this is also Boost's best hotspot plan.

Truthfully, there are other carriers that offer more data at lower prices, like US Mobile and Mint Mobile. That said, Boost Mobile's customer service is a step up from many online-only carriers because it offers in-person customer service at its physical stores. If you're someone who hates waiting on a customer service line when you need help, it might be worth it to pay a bit more for Boost.

The bottom line

The Boost Mobile Unlimited Premium plan is the best option for families who use a lot of data. At 50GB of premium data, most customers will never have to worry about exceeding their allotment, meaning everyone in the family can surf, stream, and game to their heart's content.

Why pick a Boost mobile plan?

Boost Mobile offers coverage on the AT&T and T-Mobile networks. No matter which network a customer uses, they can expect widespread 5G coverage and fast data speeds.

As of mid-2025, Boost and its parent company EchoStar have an agreement with AT&T that places most new customers on the AT&T network. It offers the second-largest 5G coverage map in the nation, blanketing 30% of the country in 5G waves. Our testers have also seen download speeds over 200Mbps while using the Boost Unlimited plan on AT&T. Virtually every major city in the country has AT&T's 5G coverage, and everywhere else is covered with AT&T's 4G LTE.

For the smaller number of customers on the T-Mobile network, it offers the nation's largest 5G network by covering 51% of the nation. During our testing of T-Mobile's network, we've seen data speeds up to 600Mbps on T-Mobile's 5G UC network, which is incredibly fast.

Apart from its coverage, Boost Mobile also offers affordable unlimited plans, device installment plans (a rarity for smaller carriers), and excellent customer service. Boost is one of the few smaller carriers that has physical stores, meaning you can get the same kind of assistance and sales normally reserved for the major carriers.

How to evaluate
Boost Mobile's unlimited plans

Boost Mobile currently only offers unlimited plans. That said, each plan has different features, so it's important to understand your needs when making a decision.  Here are some things to keep in mind when picking the right plan for you.

What to look for

  • How much unlimited data do I need?
All of Boost Mobile's plans have unlimited data, but include different allotments of premium data. This is high-speed data that won't slow down. If you're an average data user, Boost's $25/month Unlimited plan with a 30GB allotment will likely meet your needs. If you're a heavy data user, you may need to opt for one of Boost's more expensive plans. If you're unsure how much data you need, be sure to read our mobile data usage guide to help determine the most practical plan for your data habits.
  • Do I need a mobile hotspot?
Not all of Boost Mobile's plans include mobile hotspot. If you never use the hotspot feature, this is a great way to save on your phone bill. However, users who need a mobile hotspot will need to decide between purchasing a $10/month add-on or picking a higher-tier unlimited plan that includes it.
  • New phone or bringing your old phone
Boost Mobile offers special device deals through its Infinite Access plans. This is a great way to get the newest smartphone every year for just $65/month. That said, if you're happy with your current phone, you can pick one of Boost's standard unlimited plans instead.

What to avoid

  • Larger premium data allotments you don't need
Most people don't need the larger premium data allotments included with the Unlimited+ and Unlimited Premium plans, especially if they have access to reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. The average American only uses around 10–15GB of data per month, meaning that the 30GB allotment of the Boost Mobile Unlimited plan offers enough to meet most people's needs.

Best Boost Mobile plans: FAQs

Boost Mobile does not offer dedicated hotspot plans. However, it does offer mobile hotspot as a paid add-on or feature with its unlimited plans.

How we picked the best plans from Boost Mobile

Each of our plan picks is underpinned by extensive first-hand testing and review of Boost Mobile's features and performance. Our team evaluates phone plans based on the following criteria:

  • Price & value: Not all cheap plans are “bad,” and not all expensive plans are worth it. We look at everything a plan includes and compare it both to other plans from the same carrier, as well as similar plans from competitors in the market, to determine whether the value is consistent with the price.
  • High-speed data: Also called “premium” data, this is how much data you get at full 4G/5G speeds before they can or will slow down. The more guaranteed high-speed data the plan includes, the better experience you’ll generally have—but there’s also usually a limit to how much you actually need, and we recommend that you not overpay for data that you won't use.
  • Coverage & network reliability: The breadth of each carrier’s 4G LTE and 5G networks determines your reception and service. Particularly in the case of 5G, some carriers offer far more robust coverage than others, which affects how their phone plans perform in different parts of the country.
  • Plan extras & perks: In addition to the basics—talk, text, and data—some plans throw in freebies like hotspot allowances, cloud storage, entertainment subscriptions, or service discounts.

Our mobile experts have been longtime customers of Boost Mobile who have tested the network extensively. In addition to running speed tests, tethering to the hotspot, and analyzing coverage reliability, we also leveraged proprietary data and real-world customer feedback to evaluate plan options, cost, and inclusions. We considered plan-specific elements, including perks, premium data allowances, and mobile hotspot allocations. After our hands-on testing and extensive research, we picked the best plans we feel meet the needs of most people.
