The New Samsung Galaxy S10 Series

EDITOR'S NOTE: Since their release date in 2019, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series has been replaced by newer Galaxy S-series models. The Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e are no longer supported by the latest Android software updates.

The information below reflects the data and pricing at the time of the devices' release, and availability will differ from when we first reviewed them. You can upgrade to a new Galaxy phone, or you may still be able to find refurbished models of this device through retailers such as Amazon or eBay.

Galaxy S10 Series Feature Updates

If you're on the fence about making an investment (and it is an investment) in a Samsung Galaxy S10 series smartphone, look below for the full upgraded features list.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Series Feature Upgrades
  • The S10 and S10+: new Next Level Infinity-O screen which gives you more screen space and avoids the annoying camera notch
  • S10e: flat screen (not the rounded Infinity-O display) but it is still an edge to edge display
  • All three devices also have PowerShare capabilities, which allow you to charge your accessories and others' phones — simply by placing them on top of your phone
  • S10 and S10+: they have moved the fingerprint sensor to the front, below the glass, whereas the S10e has the fingerprint sensor on the side which unifies it with the power button
  • S10 and S10+: triplicate main cameras, 16MP ultra-wide, 12MP standard, and 12MP telephoto
  • S10e: has a dual rear and single front camera layout
  • If you're a group-selfie person, then the new ultra-wide dual front cameras on the S10+ are for you, but the S10+ is the only one with this new feature
  • S10, S10+, and S10e: optical image stabilization and records in HDR10+

In a nutshell, Samsung's new flagship Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are their more feature-rich devices (not unlike Apple's release of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max) and their economy flagship release is the Samsung Galaxy S10e (which is also similar to Apple's release of the iPhone XR).
