Visible’s Bring a Friend referral program is a promotion that rewards you and your friends for joining Visible and spreading the good news about this small but mighty mobile carrier.

To participate in Visible’s referral program:

Switch to Visible on either of its two unlimited plans.
Create your personal Bring a Friend referral code (more on this later.).

For every friend who uses your referral code to activate service with Visible, you’ll earn a Friend credit worth $20 and they’ll receive $20 off their first month of service.

You can have up to 12 Friend credits at any time, equaling savings of up to $240—that’s nearly the annual cost of the $25/month Visible plan! Just keep in mind that you can only use one credit per billing cycle.

You can access your unique Bring a Friend referral code via the Visible app or by logging in to your online Visible account.

To find your referral code online:

Log in to your Visible account.
Find the Referrals section.
Choose Copy referral link to copy the code and begin sharing.

Remember, you can share your code with as many people as you want, but you can only have up to 12 credits at a time.

Using your Bring a Friend referral credits

When a friend uses your Bring a Friend referral code to activate service with Visible, the credits will automatically appear in your Visible account. Cashing in your credits differs slightly depending on which Visible payment plan you sign up for.

If you are on a Visible monthly payment plan, your Friend credits will automatically apply to your next service payment. That means if you’re on Visible’s base $25 unlimited plan, your next month’s payment is just $5. If you're on the Visible+ plan, your next payment will cost just $15, and if you're on the Visible+ Pro plan, you next payment will be $25.
If you are on an annual payment plan, Visible will store your Friend credits in your referral bank. You apply one friend credit ($20) towards purchasing your next annual plan or use the credits the next time you opt for a monthly payment plan.

The downside here is that you can’t use your referral credits until you renew your annual plan or sign up for a monthly payment plan. Granted, you are already saving by paying annually, as Visible discounts its $25/month base unlimited plan to $23/month, the $35/month Visible+ plan to $31.75/month, and the $45/month Visible+ Pro unlimited plan to $37.50/month for annual subscribers.

Expert tip: Monthly vs. annual plans with Visible

If you plan on racking in the Friend credits, paying monthly for your Visible plan might make more sense, as you can routinely offset the total cost of your monthly bill. But if you think you might only get one or two Friend credits and can afford to pay for your Visible plan up front, an annual payment plan will save you more in the long run.

How to join Visible with a Bring a Friend referral code

Looking to join Visible using the referral code your friend sent you? Smart move. Get ready to join Visible for as low as $5 for the first month of service.

To be eligible, make sure that you:

Don’t already have a Visible account linked to your name or email address.
