Mediacom Internet Bundles

Mediacom offers a few bundles—including a 60 Mbps double play (TV + internet) bundle and a 100 Mbps triple play (TV + internet + phone) bundle. These two options are priced identically at $98.98 for the first 12 months, but note that additional charges apply, i.e. "local broadcast station surcharges ranging from $11.75 to $18.19, regional sports surcharges ranging from $1.86 to $6.62, and other monthly charges." Mediacom's TV service includes 230+ channels.

Mediacom Internet Customer Service

Internet providers are among the most derided companies in the country, with customers complaining about everything from unexpected price jumps to slower-than-advertised speeds. Mediacom is subject to these same complaints—a lot of them. However, their customer service department is generally regarded as solid, easier to deal with than some of the bigger internet providers.

Incidentally, if you need to contact Mediacom customer service, here are their details (it's also on our Mediacom customer service hub page):

How to Find Your Mediacom Internet Plan

Our internet search engine makes it easy to discover which internet plans are offered by which providers in your specific area.

Simply head over to our internet hub, punch in your address, select your preferred speed (or leave it blank if you prefer) and press "search." On the resulting page you can browse through what's available, and filter by connection type. For a shortcut, simply enter your details in the field at the bottom of this page.

Mediacom Internet: The Bottom Line

Bottom line: Mediacom is a small regional internet provider with fine if rather middling plan options. These plans start out at a respectable 60 Mbps but top out at a a Gbps in select locations. As with most internet providers, their intro prices are good for 12 months, unless you're somehow able to convince customer service to extend them.

Pros
  • Reasonable prices
  • Frequent promotions and deals
Cons
  • Limited plan options
  • Annoying extra charges, including $109.99 upfront
