Mint Mobile's New 5G Home Internet Can Connect You for as Cheap as $30/Month

Mint Mobile launches 5G Home MINTernet plans

Mint Mobile has launched its new 5G Home Internet plans, expanding beyond its traditional multi-month mobile data offerings.
Pay as little as $40/month for a standalone MINTernet plan with Mint's introductory offer.
The new plans are flexible, no-contract packages available in 3-, 6-, or 12-month plans.
New and existing Mint customers can save an additional $10/month by bundling a phone and internet plan.

Mint Mobile has launched 5G Home MINTernet, a new home internet service that runs on T-Mobile's 5G network. Mint now offers internet service in multi-month packages, just like it does with its mobile plans. You can choose between 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month plans for 5G Home Internet. Expect to pay between $30–$50/month for Mint's internet, but pricing depends on introductory offers and phone line bundling.

Mint's 5G Home Internet plans include:

Unlimited data, with slower speeds if you use over 1TB of data per month
Top 5G speeds on the largest 5G network in the nation
A free 5G gateway device

Mint promises typical download speeds between 133–415Mbps with unlimited data. However, Mint may reduce speeds during network congestion after you use 1TB of data per month. But that's more than enough data to keep the average user connected all month long. When compared to T-Mobile's 5G Home Internet plans, Mint customers save $20/month on 5G internet at home, while using the same network as the major carrier.

If you're skeptical, rest assured because Mint will give you your money back if any problems arise within your first two weeks.

MINTernet plan pricing

You can now get Mint Mobile's home internet service with the same flexible, multi-month terms as its phone plans. Purchase a standalone internet plan starting at $50/month for three months, $45/month for six months, or $40/month for a full year. Bundling with a Mint phone plan drops the cost of each plan tier by $10/month, dropping to $40/month, $35/month, and $30/month respectively.

Mint is also offering new customers a $10/month discount on its internet plan. It's important to note that the introductory offer only applies to your first three-month term. When you renew, you'll have to pay the standard pricing.

How do I sign up for Mint's internet?

Switching to Mint Mobile now includes the option to add their new 5G Home Internet service. To sign up for Mint's 5G Home Internet, visit Mint's website to see if 5G is offered in your area. You can then pick your prepaid plan and sign up. Mint requires upfront payment, so you'll need to shell out the full plan price right away.
