What we know so far
- Visible 5G Home Internet just launched, offering Visible mobile customers a fast, no-contract home internet option powered by Verizon's 5G network.
- Visible customers can snag two months of service for a total of $49.99 (or almost $25/month). Regular monthly pricing costs $30/month, or $300/year ($25/month) with the annual plan.
- Visible provides a 5G Home Internet Gateway (router) that delivers Wi-Fi throughout your home with no data caps and download speeds up to 200Mbps.
- You must have an active Visible mobile line to sign up.
Cell phone service provider Visible just launched a new 5G Home Internet plan—and you can get it for just $25/month. Visible is already one of the best mobile service providers on Verizon's network. And with the addition of affordable wireless home internet, Visible is unbeatable. Combine your cell and internet bills into one with the nation's largest 4G network and fastest 5G signals with Visible's newly doubled service.
Visible is an MVNO, meaning it provides service by using Verizon's infrastructure rather than building its own towers, which is how it keeps prices this low. But with other competitors like Mint Mobile and US Mobile also in the 5G Home Internet market, which provider is the best?
Read on to find out all about Visible's 5G Home Internet pricing, check coverage, and learn how to sign up.
I've been a Visible customer for three years, and it's the best service I've ever had. The base $25/month plan is (in my opinion) the best unlimited plan on the market. The service and speeds at my address are excellent, so I can't wait to see Visible's wireless internet. Visible 5G Home Internet uses the same Verizon network my phone already runs on—so it's guaranteed to be good.

Plus, with the launch of this new internet service, Visible is offering an extra deal. Visible customers who sign up get two months of 5G Home Internet at $5/month off—that means you get wireless internet access for just $25/month.
Cell and internet service for just $55/month. Sign me up!
However, keep in mind that you need a cell line in order to sign up for Visible's home internet. If you have the $25/month base Visible plan, your monthly combined bill would cost just $55/month for both mobile and internet. Add on an extra $10/month or $20/month if you opt for Visible's mid- or top-tier plan, bringing the monthly total to either $65/month with Visible+ or $75/month with Visible+Pro.
Choose the best Visible plan for your budget
Visible offers three mobile plans, and all three now work alongside 5G Home Internet.
- Visible ($25/month): Unlimited data, talk, and text. It's the best value unlimited plan for everyday use, with unlimited hotspot data included.
- Visible+ ($35/month): Everything in the base plan, plus unlimited premium data and access to Verizon's ultra-wideband 5G for maximum speeds—plus unlimited hotspot.
- Visible+Pro ($45/month): The full package, with the fastest unlimited hotspot, global passes and smartwatch service built in.
What's included with Visible 5G Home Internet
Here's what the plan includes:
- Download speeds up to 200 Mbps on Verizon's LTE and 5G C-band network. That's fast enough for streaming, video calls, and multiple devices running at the same time.
- No data cap. Every device in your home can stay connected without any usage limits, auditing, or overage charges.
- No contract. You can cancel at any time without penalties or fees.
- Whole-home Wi-Fi through the included Gateway. You can use phones, laptops, tablets, smart TVs, and anything else that connects to Wi-Fi.
- Taxes and fees included in the advertised price. The number you see is the number you pay.
When you sign up, Visible ships you a 5G Home Internet Gateway, an all-in-one modem and router that handles both your broadband connection and Wi-Fi in a single device. You don't need to buy or source your own equipment. Better yet, the Gateway is yours to keep even if you cancel, which is not something every competitor offers.

Two things are worth knowing before you commit. Video streaming is optimized for 1080p, not 4K, so if your household runs multiple 4K TVs at once or you're particular about picture quality, that's a real limitation to weigh. Customer support also follows the same model as Visible's mobile service, meaning help starts with a chatbot and there's no phone number to call. If you've been on Visible for a while, neither of these will be a surprise.
Visible's $5 friends-and-family discount
Visible doesn't offer traditional multi-line bundling, but it invites everyone to band together for discounts. You can connect your friends' and relatives' Visible accounts, and everyone scores a $5/month discount. Visible's Inner Circle discount is the most flexible (and modern) bundling option on the market.
How to sign up for Visible 5G Home Internet
You can sign up through Visible's website or directly through the Visible mobile app. Since I'm already a customer, I went through the app to see how it works, and the process is super simple.
To sign up through the Visible app:
- Open the Visible app and tap Account in the bottom menu.
- Look for the 5G Home Internet banner on your account screen.
- Tap Check Availability and confirm your service address.
- If it's available at your address, you can complete your order right there in the app.

Since this just launched, the in-app signup is rolling out now, so keep an eye on it if you don't see the option yet. It could be any day before you're able to complete a full order. In the meantime, you can also check availability and get started at Visible's website.
Checking coverage at your address
Visible 5G Home Internet runs on Verizon's network, which is the same signal powering your Visible mobile service. If you're new to the concept, our guide to 5G home internet explains how it compares to cable and fiber in plain terms. If you already get great Verizon 5G coverage at home, you're in a strong position. If your signal is patchy on the phone side, that same limitation applies to home internet.
Before you sign up, it's worth checking the signal strength in your area. Use our interactive coverage map below to toggle between 4G LTE and 5G and see whether you're covered by Visible at your address.
You can also check availability directly through Visible's website. Enter your address to confirm whether the service is offered at your location before committing.
Visible, Mint Mobile, and US Mobile: Which budget 5G home internet is best?
Visible isn't the first budget carrier to get into home internet, and it won't be the last. I actually switched from Mint Mobile to Visible a few years back, so I have a pretty clear picture of how the two carriers compare day to day.
Here's how the home internet options stack up:
Budget 5G home internet comparison
| Visible | Mint Mobile | US Mobile + Starlink | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $30/mo. | $40/mo. | $30, $60, or $100/mo. |
| Annual price | $300/yr. (about $25/mo.) | $480/yr. ($40/mo.) | $360/yr. ($30/mo) |
| Network | Verizon 4G LTE and 5G | T-Mobile 5G | Starlink satellite |
| Download speeds | Up to 200Mbps | Up to 245Mbps | Up to 200Mbps |
| Data cap | None | None | None |
| Contract | No | No | No |
| Requires mobile plan | Yes | No (available as standalone) | Yes |
| Best for | Existing Visible customers in strong Verizon coverage areas | T-Mobile network users who want solid mid-range speeds | Rural households or users who live in more remote areas |
| Learn more | See at Visible | See at Mint | See at US Mobile |
Visible is the most affordable of the three for existing customers, especially on the annual plan. The fact that you keep the Gateway hardware if you cancel also saves you from any extra charges once you're ready to leave. Both Mint Mobile and US Mobile's Starlink bundle require the router to be returned, or charge (hefty) damage fees.
US Mobile's Starlink bundle makes the most sense for rural households where 5G coverage is limited or non-existent, since satellite internet reaches places terrestrial 5G simply can't.
Mint Mobile runs on T-Mobile's network and is worth a look if you already get strong T-Mobile signal at home. It's also the only one of the three you can sign up for without an existing mobile plan, which gives it a wider potential audience. Speeds can reach up to 245 Mbps, slightly ahead of Visible's 200 Mbps ceiling.
But if you're already on Visible and happy with your coverage, there's a strong argument for keeping everything in one place.
Ready to start saving? Here's how to switch to Visible today
If you're not already a Visible customer, now is a good time to make the switch.
The $25/month base plan is one of the best deals in wireless right now, and adding 5G Home Internet at $30/month on top means you're covering your phone and your home Wi-Fi for $55/month combined. That gives you serious savings compared to what most people pay for each separately.
Check out the current Visible mobile plan options below, and once you're signed up, you can add 5G Home Internet through the app or at Visible's homepage.
Visible's 5G Home Internet FAQ
Is there a data cap for Visible 5G Home Internet?
Visible's 5G Home Internet doesn't have any data caps. The Visible Home Internet Gateway gives you truly unlimited data with no usage auditing, no throttling based on how much you've used, and no overage fees.
Do you need a Visible mobile plan to get home internet?
Yes, you need a Visible mobile plan to get Visible's home internet. Visible 5G Home Internet is only available to Visible mobile customers and cannot be purchased as a standalone service.
Can I take my home internet service with me if I move?
Your Gateway and service are linked to your current address, so you can't take the same setup to a new location. Is Visible 5G Home Internet available in my area?
Availability depends on Verizon 5G coverage at your address. Use our interactive coverage map above to toggle between 4G and 5G coverage at your ZIP code.
